Due to the fast growth of the company we are seeking to strengthen the team by appointing a new Sales Representative to cover the United Kingdom.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to manage and maximise existing accounts, drive forward new growth and using Customer Development techniques to ensure the compilation of new insights to improve the Ogun Platform.

You need to be a successful and enthusiastic person with a good sense of humour, a proven history of sales success and a passion for customer service. You understand the importance of personal relationships in business, hence being on the road a minimum of 3 days a week building strong bonds with customers. This should come as second nature.

Sales Person UK – Main Actions

  • Support Sales Manager to deliver Commercial Strategy

  • Generate leads and meetings with potential users and suppliers

  • Give and attend presentations to potential users and suppliers

  • Gain development feedback from users and suppliers

  • Meet monthly, weekly and quarterly targets

  • Help to raise the profile of the Ogun brand


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving your own sales budget

  • Developing and maximising impact in the Customer Factory

  • Maintaining our existing database of (potential) customers through telephone canvassing and face to face visits in the UK

  • Implementing sales and marketing campaigns using Growth Hacking

  • Planning your own weekly trips including organising routes, reserving hotels, etc

  • Set up and help out with trade shows/showrooms in the UK and abroad

  • Identifying new trends and reporting back to the Product manager

  • Dealing with all administration tasks relating to your customers

  • Reporting on a weekly basis to the Product Manager



Necessary Skills

  • Previous field sales experience for a minimum of 3 years is essential

  • Ability to overcome objections and speak to decision makers

  • A high-level of independent initiative and a strong drive

  • Strong influencing and negotiating experience

  • Able to communicate on all levels

  • Excellent time management & organisational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, additional languages (especially Spanish) are a bonus

  • Full driving licence

  • Flexibility to travel abroad when necessary

  • Prepared to drive 40000 kilometres+ per year

  • Experienced in working in distributed, virtual teams but not essential
